now is goneYesterday I received a copy of “Now Is Gone: A Primer on New Media for Executives and Entrepreneurs” by Geoff Livingston with Brian Solis, courtesy of Social Media Today (thanks Lauren). I’ve only just begun to read it but it’s already proving very interesting.

The aim of the book is to introduce the benefits of social media sharing on the Internet to Marketing and PR people. As a tech-savvy web person, I’m already aware of the capabilities of the web but it’s interesting to see it from the perspective of Marketing and PR people.

One of my current projects involves building a some online tools to assist in online PR and marketing so it’s a great resource for me too.

Perhaps there’s an additional audience for this book that wasn’t originally intended; web-heads who want to learn about PR.
